Drive in new seal to stop with Thrust Piece ( 3305), do not distort while doing this.

Press the flange shaft onto the transmission housing and tighten it. Tightening specification => [ (Item 12) Countersunk Bolt - 33 Nm ] See:
Differential/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.

The rest of the installation follows the reverse order of removal, note the following:

Install left drive axle. Refer to => Suspension, Wheels

and Steering 40 Removal and Installation.

Check gear oil level in manual transmission and fill. Refer to => [ Manual Transmission, Checking Gear Oil Level ] See: Fluid - M/T/Testing and
Inspection.

If equipped, install Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78) - arrows - and set headlamps to " Basic Setting" function. Refer to => 404
