Shift Cable: Description and Operation

Plastic Relay Lever

From 05.2007 - Plastic Relay Lever

‹› To remove the relay lever, the cable retainer must be disconnected from the selector cable.

This prevents damage to the selector cable.

Pull the securing mechanism forward as far as the stop in the direction of - arrow 1 - and then unlock to the left in the direction of - arrow 2 -.

Press the relay lever forward (- direction of arrow 3 -).

Press the tab - arrow 1 - (see previous illustration) down as far as the stop and remove the relay lever together with the cable retainer. Move it in
the operating direction when doing so.
