Tighten inspection plug -B- with new seal to 45 Nm. This completes checking the transmission fluid.

End function "Measured values" by pressing arrow-left button.

-

Press "end output".

-

Switch off ignition and disconnect Data Link Connector (DLC). 

Transmission Fluid, Filling

All precautionary measures and test conditions must be followed.

^

Place selector lever in position "P", engage parking brake.

^

Exhaust hose/hoses of an exhaust extraction system connected.

Engine idling.

Display on VAS 5051B:

-

Read the transmission fluid temperature in display field -1-.

Transmission fluid must be added if no transmission fluid escapes via the overflow tube -arrow- through the inspection hole, at a
temperature between 35 degree C and 45 degree C, with engine running:

CAUTION
The oil filler adapter VAS 6262 must be clean and transmission fluid must not be mixed with another fluid!
