General Body Assembly Exterior (Repair groups 50, 55, 57, 58, 60, 63, 64, 66)
Rear bumper
Removing and installing rear bumper
  • Panel
    • ◆ To remove, unscrew bolt -2-.
  • Self-tapping screw
  • Cover
    • ◆ To remove, unscrew bolt -2- on left and right and remove both end piece -1- and cover
  • Bumper cover
    • ◆ Before removing dismantle end piece -1- and cover -3-.
    • ◆ Unscrew Torx bolts -10- and reinforcement -9-.
    • ◆ Unscrew three lower self-tapping screws at wheel housing liner on left and right.
 
A63-0021
    • ◆ First pull bumper cover out of top of guide -7- at the side, then lever over wheel housing liner and take off to the rear.
  • Hexagon nut
    • ◆ 23 Nm.
  • Bumper
    • ◆ End pieces -1- and cover -3- and bumper trim removed.
    • ◆ To remove, unscrew hexagon bolts -5- and remove bumper.

  • Guide piece
    • ◆ Bumper cover removed.
    • ◆ Unscrew self-tapping screws -8- and remove guide piece.
  • Self-tapping screw
    • ◆ 1.5 Nm
  • Reinforcement
  • Self-tapping screw
    • ◆ 1 Nm
