Removing and installing rear window seal > < Removing and installing window lifter and door window from/to door subframe

General Body Assembly Exterior (Repair groups 50, 55, 57, 58, 60, 63, 64, 66)
Rear door
Adjusting rear window
 
A57-0028
  • ‒ → Insert door window in window lifter.
  • ‒ Raise window until shortly before stop.
  • ‒ Window -1- and seal -4- for door subframe must run parallel in roof and C-pillar area.
  • ‒ Press window -1- towards B-pillar -3-.
  • ‒ Raise window -1- as far as it will go.
  • ‒ Tighten bolts on window lifter mount.
    Tightening torque 2.5 Nm.
