• D-pillar trim.

• ◆ Removing
• ‒ Remove roof frame trim
• ‒ Remove rear seat backrest
  split => Page 72-188
• ‒ Unscrew lower seat belt bolting point => Page 69-18
• ‒ Remove luggage compartment side trim

• ‒ Lever off cover -5-.
• ‒ Let cover -5- hang off trim -1-.
• ‒ Unscrew bolt -3-.

Note:

Only pull on side facing rear window when disassembling C-pillar trim -1-.

• ‒ Unclip trim -1- at clamps -2- (5x).

• ◆ Installing
• ‒ Detach trim cap -5- from trim -1-.
• ‒ Attach trim -1- at clamps -2-.

Note:

When installing C-pillar trim, only press on side facing rear window - do not knock.

• ‒ Press on trim -1-.
• ‒ Screw in bolt -3-.
• ‒ Attach and insert trim cap -5-.

• Clamp
• Bolt (1x)
• ‒ Tightening torque 4 Nm
• ◆ Self-locking
• ◆ Replace
• ◆ Threaded bores for bolts must always be cleaned (e.g. with a thread tap).
• Mounting
• Trim cap
