Remove Bowden cables

• ‒ Remove footwell vent =>Page 80-34
• ‒ → Lever off securing clip -A-.
• ‒ Carefully detach Bowden cable from lever arm.

Notes:

• ◆ Check the Bowden cables before fitting, replace stiff or damaged Bowden cables
• ◆ After installing the Bowden cables, turn the rotary control from end stop to end stop (both stops must be reached).

Install and adjust Bowden cable on temperature flap

• ‒ Turn rotary control for temperature flap to maximum setting for "cold".

• ‒ → Connect Bowden cable to lever arm for temperature flap -B-.
• ‒ Push down slightly on lever arm -B- for temperature flap in direction of arrow.
• ‒ Secure Bowden cable sheath with clip -A-.
• ‒ Turn the rotary control for temperature flap from end stop to end stop (both stops must be reached).

Install and adjust Bowden cable on central flap and footwell/defroster flap

• ‒ Turn rotary control for air distribution to end stop in the "Air to windscreen" position.

• ‒ → Connect Bowden cable to lever arm for central flap -C-.
• ‒ Push down slightly on lever arm -C- for central flap in direction of arrow.
• ‒ Secure Bowden cable sheath with clip -A-.

• ‒ Turn the rotary control for air distribution from end stop to end stop (both stops must be reached).

• ‒ Turn rotary control for air distribution to end stop in the "Air to windscreen" position.
• ‒ → Connect Bowden cable to lever arm for footwell-/defrost flap -B-.
• ‒ Push down slightly on lever arm -B- for footwell/defroster flap in direction of arrow.
• ‒ Secure Bowden cable sheath with clip -A-.
• ‒ Turn the rotary control for air distribution from end stop to end stop (both stops must be reached).
