Erasing event memory
Erasing event memory
  Note
If event memory cannot be erased, interrogate event memory once again and rectify any faults.
Requirements
l  Event memory has been interrogated → Chapter.
l  All faults rectified.
   
After interrogating event memory:
Tester display (example):
–  From menu -1-, select diagnostic function „Erase event memory“ and advance by pressing → button.

Tester display (example):
1 - No display (before erasing memory) or
 - Event memory erased
  Note
If the following message appears in display zone -1-: „Event memory has not yet been interrogated“, the procedure was not performed properly. The event memory must first be interrogated before it can be erased.
2 - Note: Do you want to perform this function? Note: Data will be erased.
–  Touch OK button in display -2-.
–  Exit function „Erase event memory“ by touching ← button.
