Dismantling and assembling engine
Checking semi-automatic toothed belt tensioning roller

Test requirements:

  • ● Remove upper toothed belt guard.
  • ● Toothed belt in position and tensioned.

Test sequence

  • ‒ → Tension toothed belt with firm thumb pressure. The pointer 2 must move sideways.
  • ‒ Release thumb pressure on toothed belt. Tensioner must return to initial position. (Pointer back in line with notch -1-).

Note:

Use a mirror to check.
