Observe rules for cleanliness .

Notes:

• ◆ Please ensure that no Diesel fuel contacts coolant hoses. If necessary clean hose immediately.
• ◆ Observe disposal regulations!

Removing

• ‒ → Pull off retaining clip -4-.
• ‒ Take off control valve -3- with fuel hoses connected.
• ‒ Disconnect fuel hoses -1- and -2- from hose connections.
• ‒ Loosen locking screw -5- on bracket and take filter out of bracket.

Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

Replace O-rings.

• ‒ Fill new filter with clean diesel. This will enable the engine to start more quickly.

• ‒ → Insert fuel filter into bracket and secure with clamping nut -5-.
• ‒ Install control valve with fuel pipes connected.
• ‒ Fit securing clip -4-.
• ‒ Push fuel hoses -1- and -2- onto hose connections and secure with hose clamps.
• ‒ Start engine and check fuel system for leaks (visual check).
