Removing and installing the lambda probe

Removing

  • ‒ Unplug the lambda probe connector.
  • ‒ Unscrew the lambda probe using V.A.G 3337/9.

When installing, note the following points:

Notes:

  • ◆ Tightening torque 50 Nm.
  • ◆ The screw thread on the lambda probe is coated with a special paste (hot screw paste). This paste must not be allowed to penetrate the openings on the probe.
