Testing lambda control
Removing and installing lambda probe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items

  • ◆ Ring spanner for lambda probe 3337/9
  • ◆ Hot paste G 052 112 A3 (for bolts)

Removing

  • ‒ Unplug the lambda probe connector.
  • ‒ Unscrew the lambda probe using ring spanner 3337/9.

Installing

When installing, note the following points:

Notes:

  • ◆ Tightening torque: 50 Nm.
  • ◆ The screw thread on the lambda probe is coated with a special paste. This paste must not be allowed to penetrate the openings on the probe.
