Electronic power control fault lamp -K132- in instrument cluster
  Note
The electronic power control fault lamp -K132- is also referred to as the EPC warning lamp.
“EPC” is the abbreviation for Electronic Power Control (electronic throttle).

Fitting location of the EPC warning lamp
When the ignition is switched on the engine control unit tests all the components whose functions relate to the electronic throttle system.
The engine control unit activates the EPC lamp after switching on the ignition. Shortly after starting the engine, the EPC lamp goes out if no faults in the electronic throttle system have been detected by the engine control unit and actuation of the lamp by the engine control unit is OK.
If faults in the electronic throttle system are detected during engine operation, the engine control unit activates the EPC lamp (such faults are indicated in the fault table). At the same time an entry is made in the engine control unit fault memory.
