Checking Lambda control after catalytic converter
Checking Lambda control after catalytic converter
–  Use engine speed adjuster -V.A.G 1788/10- to set engine speed to 2000 rpm.
–  Press C key.
–  Select “Display group number 037”.
–  Check the Lambda probe voltage in display zone 2.
–  Check the lambda correction value in display zone 3 and the result of diagnosis in zone 4.

Note If specification is not obtained: evaluation → Chapter If display shows “Syst. n.OK”: interrogate fault memory → Chapter.

  Note
The Lambda probe voltage bank 1, probe 2 should remain as constant as possible. Considerable fluctuations in voltage are an indication of catalytic converter damage.
