| To ensure that the knock sensor functions properly it is important to keep exactly to the specified tightening torque of 20 Nm. |

| The vibrations from loose components may be identified by the knock sensor as knocking. Therefore check also that the ancillaries have been securely installed. |

| Use only gold plated contacts when repairing the contacts in the connectors for the knock sensors. |
