Function test

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	-V.A.G 1526 A-

t	-V.A.G 1527 B-

t	-V.A.G 1594 A-

t	-V.A.G 1598/31-

t	-VAS 5051-

t	-V.A.G 1551- with -V.A.G 1551/3 A-

–	Initiate final control diagnosis and actuate the secondary air pump relay -J299-.

t	The relay for secondary air pump -1- (under cover on left on the bulkhead) must respond and the motor for the secondary air pump -V101- must start in intervals.

A - If the relay does not respond:

–	Check the power supply of the secondary air pump relay .

–	Check actuation of secondary air pump relay.

B - If relay responds but secondary air pump motor does not run:

–	Check the power supply for the secondary air pump motor.
