Note:

As part of the basic setting of the engine, the engine control unit is adapted to the throttle valve control unit with the ignition on and the engine not running.

Adaptation of the engine control unit to the throttle valve control unit (under function 04, "Basic setting") must be performed each time either the engine control unit or the throttle valve control unit or both are removed or renewed.
