Display group 08 at full throttle (test drive in 3rd or 4th gear, coolant temperature not below +85 °C)

- engine codes AGR and ALH

Important The fault reader must be secured on the rear seat and operated from this position. Observe the safety precautions applicable to test drives .

Read measured value block 8

3290 rpm

40.4 mg/stroke

37.2 mg/stroke

38.0 mg/stroke

Injection quantity limitation according to recognised air mass
36...39 mg/stroke OK
▪ < 36 mg/stroke: detected air mass insufficient
▪ => Test air mass meter, Page 23-69
▪ Exhaust gas recirculation at full throttle => check

Injection quantity controlled according to engine speed (torque limitation) 34...39 mg/stroke OK.
▪ < 34 mg/stroke: engine speed too high or too low
▪ > 39 mg/stroke: increase in injection quantity as a result of tuning

Desired injection quantity (accelerator pedal position) 39 mg/stroke OK
▪ < 39 mg/stroke: Accelerator pedal not fully depressed, incorrectly set or defective => test

Engine speed, 2800...4000 rpm OK

Display group 08 at full throttle (test drive in 3rd or 4th gear, coolant temperature not below +85 °C)

- Engine codes AHF and ASV

Important The fault reader must be secured on the rear seat and operated from this position. Observe the safety precautions applicable to test drives => Page 23-1.

41.4 mg/stroke

Injection quantity limitation according to recognised air mass
greater than 40 mg/stroke OK
▪ Less than 40 mg/stroke: detected air mass insufficient
▪ => Check air mass meter => Page 23-69
▪ Exhaust gas recirculation at full throttle => check

Injection quantity controlled according to engine speed (torque limitation) 38...42 mg/stroke OK.
▪ Less than 38 mg/stroke: engine speed too high or too low
