Input values on dash panel insert replacement

The following items must always be heeded on replacing dash panel insert:

Perform the following before replacing dash panel insert:

  • ‒ If still possible, read out and print out values of all service display adaption channels from old dash panel insert.
  • ‒ Note down mileage count.

Notes:

  • ◆ Adaption of service display and mileage countermust be made in kilometres even in countries where distances are measured in miles. This involves converting adaption values from miles to kilometres or entering adaption values previously noted down.
  • ◆ The immobilizer control unit is integrated into the dash panel insert. Immobilizer adaption must therefore be performed following dash panel insert replacement.

  • ‒ Enter mileage => Page 01-66

  • ‒ Correct fuel gauge sender resistance range => Page 01-81 (only if fixed value changed)
