Telematics SIM card replacement
Telematics SIM card replacement
Proceed as follows if telematics SIM cards are defective:
–  Remove telematics control unit → Chapter.
   
–  Slacken off both bolts -arrows- on underside of telematics control unit and detach cover.

–  Take SIM card -arrow- out of telematics control unit.
–  Complete and submit fax form “Release of Audi telematics (Fax 1.1)”.
–  Insert new, released SIM card received in telematics control unit.
–  Telematics control unit
–  Destroy old SIM card.
–  Perform initialisation → Chapter.
