Aerial selection
Aerial selection
It is possible to determine which GSM aerial is to be used to establish the telephone link.
“0 = automatic selection” applies to normal operation.
For test purposes, it is possible to switch to emergency or main aerial and to use a telephone link to check aerial operation.
   
Indicated on display:
–  Press keys 0 and 6 (06 is used to select “Channel 6”).
  Note!
An incorrect entry can be corrected after pressing C key.
–  Confirm entry by pressing Q key.
  
Adaption
Enter channel number XX
Indicated on display:
Channel selected and aerial selection currently stored are displayed on top line.
0 = Automatic selection
1 = GSM main aerial selected
2 = GSM emergency aerial selected
–  Press → key.
  
Channel 6     Adaption      0        ->
autom.
Indicated on display:
–  Enter new adaption value (e.g. 00001) if GSM main aerial is to be selected.
–  Confirm entry by pressing Q key.
  
Channel 6     Adaption      0        ->
Enter adaption value XXXXX
Indicated on display:
–  Press → key.
  
Channel 6     Adaption      1        ->
Main aerial
Indicated on display:
–  Confirm entry by pressing Q key.

Indicated on display:
–  Press → key.
  
Channel 6     Adaption      1        ->
Altered value stored
Indicated on display:
–  Press keys 0 and 6 (06 is used to select “End of output” function).
–  Confirm entry by pressing Q key.
