Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  E.g. vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051B-
–  After installing the key-operated switch to deactivate airbag on front passenger side -E224-, the airbag control unit -J234- must be re-coded (does not apply to Audi A6 2005 ►).
–  Connect a suitable vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system, e.g. vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051B- to vehicle.
–  Perform “Coding airbag control unit” program for relevant model in “Guided Fault Finding”.
