Removing
  Caution
When disconnecting the battery there is a risk of serious damage to electronic components:
Observe the correct procedure for disconnecting the battery.
–  Remove battery → Rep. Gr.27.
–  Remove air cleaner housing → Rep. Gr.24.
–  Remove battery tray -arrows- (detach front of battery tray from air duct if applicable).

–  Unclip clutch position sender -G476- at clutch master cylinder in direction of -arrow- and remove.
–  Unplug electrical connector -4-.
  Note
-Items 1, 2 and 3- can be disregarded.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Fit clutch position sender -G476- at clutch master cylinder and engage -arrow-.
–  Attach electrical connector -4-.
–  Install battery tray and battery → Rep. Gr.27.
–  Install air cleaner housing → Rep. Gr.24.
