1 - Oil pan

q   Renew O-rings

6 - Breather pipe
q   Pressed into gearbox
q   Must be renewed if removed
7 - Breather cap
q   Fitted onto breather pipe
15 - Gear oil pump

q   Install with new gasket

q   Different bolts according to version

Oil pan - tightening torque and sequence
–  Tighten bolts -arrows- diagonally in stages to 16 Nm.

Mechatronic unit for dual clutch gearbox -J743-: tightening torque and sequence
  Note
Renew bolts which are tightened by turning through a specified angle.
–  Tighten bolts in 4 stages in the sequence shown:
  N35-10101
StageBoltsTightening torque/tightening angle
1.-1 … 10-Screw in bolts by hand until they make contact
2.Remove guide pin -T40199- 
3.-1 … 10-5 Nm
4.-1 … 10-Turn 90° further

   
Gear oil pump - tightening torque and sequence
  Note
Renew bolts which are tightened by turning through a specified angle.
–  Tighten bolts -arrows- (different bolts according to version):
Countersunk-head bolts -A-:
–  Tighten countersunk head bolts in diagonal sequence to 8 Nm.
Pan-head bolts -B-:
–  Tighten pan-head bolts in 2 stages as follows:
  A37-10735
StageBoltsTightening torque/tightening angle
1.-B-5 Nm in diagonal sequence
4.-B-Turn 90° further in diagonal sequence

   
Cover -A- for gear oil pump - tightening torque and sequence
  Note
Renew bolts securing cover for gear oil pump.
–  Tighten bolts -arrows- diagonally in stages to 8 Nm.

Gearbox input speed sender -G182-/clutch temperature sender -G509-
A - Gearbox input speed sender -G182-/clutch temperature sender -G509-
B - Bolt, 10 Nm
C - Electrical connector
→ Chapter „Removing and installing gearbox input speed sender -G182-/clutch temperature sender -G509-“.
