Removing and installing poly V-belt > < Cylinder block (pulley end)

Poly V-belt drive - exploded view
1 - Poly V-belt
q   Check for wear
q   Before removing, mark direction of rotation with chalk or felt-tipped pen
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Do not kink
q   When installing, make sure it is properly seated on pulleys.
2 - Bolt
q   With washer
q   Renew
q   Lubricate thread with oil before fitting
q   Contact surface must be free of oil or grease
q   150 Nm + 180° further
3 - Poly V-belt pulley
q   For crankshaft
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Contact surfaces must be free of oil or grease
q   When loosening and tightening, use counterhold tool -3415- and -3415/2-
q   Contact surfaces must be free of oil or grease
4 - Diamond-coated washer
q   Renew
q   Insert in notches on poly V-belt pulley
5 - Idler roller
q   For poly V-belt
q   With cover cap for bolt
q   40 Nm
6 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Item
7 - Poly V-belt pulley
q   For coolant pump
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
8 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Item
9 - Coolant pump
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
10 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27
11 - Alternator
q   Removing and installing → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27
12 - Bolt
q   Renew
q   20 Nm + 90° further
13 - Bracket
q   For ancillaries
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
14 - Bolt
q   23 Nm
15 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Rep. gr.87
16 - Air conditioner compressor
q   Removing and installing → Rep. gr.87
17 - Dowel sleeve
18 - Tensioner
q   For poly V-belt
q   Lock in position with locking pin -T10060 A-.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter

   
Plug for „TDC“ drilling - tightening torque
  Note
Renew the seal on the screw plug for the „TDC“ drilling.
–  Tighten plug -arrow- in cylinder block to 30 Nm.
