Removing and installing exhaust gas recirculation valveN18 with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometerG212
Removing and installing exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212-
   
Removing
–  Remove centre noise insulation -fasteners 1 ... 3-.
  A10-1565
–  Unbolt heat shield for drive shaft (right-side) -arrows-.
  A10-0921
–  Loosen the union nut -arrow- of the connecting pipe for exhaust gas recirculation.

–  Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.
  A10-1564
–  Detach hoses -1-, -3- and -4-.
–  Release spring-type hose clips -2- and -5- and remove air hose.

–  Detach connecting pipe for exhaust gas recirculation from throttle valve connection -arrows-.
  A26-0725
–  Unplug electrical connector -1-.
–  Unscrew nuts -2- and -3- and detach EGR connecting pipe from exhaust gas recirculation valve.
–  Detach exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- together with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
