Extracting and driving in needle bearing for crankshaft   Note t  There should be no needle bearing fitted in the crankshaft on vehicles with manual gearbox. t  A needle bearing must be fitted in the crankshaft on vehicles with dual clutch gearbox → Electronic parts catalogue. Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Drift -VW 207 C- or centring mandrel -3176-

t  -1- Internal puller Kukko 21/1 t  -4- Counter-support Kukko 22/1

t  Depth gauge -VAS 6082-

Pulling out l  Gearbox removed. –  Remove needle bearing using internal puller Kukko 21/1 and counter-support Kukko 22/1.

Driving in –  Drive in needle bearing with drift -VW 207 C- or centring mandrel -3176-. l  Installation position: side with lettering faces outwards.

l  Installation depth of -a- = approx. 3 mm.
