Removing and installing bracket for ancillaries

Removing   Note The procedure describes removal on vehicles with air conditioner compressor. –  Remove engine mounting → Chapter. –  Remove alternator → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.

–  Remove high-pressure pump → Rep. gr.23.

–  Pull engine upwards with spindle -arrow-.

–  Remove bolt -3- from engine support; insert new bolt, but do not screw in.   Note Disregard -items 1, 2-.

–  Lower engine again with spindle -arrow-.

–  Remove bolt -arrow-. –  Remove bolts -1- and -2- and remove idler rollers for toothed belt.

–  Remove bolts -1 ... 6- and detach bracket for ancillaries. Installing Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:   Note Renew the bolts tightened with specified tightening angle. –  Check that dowel sleeve at top right between bracket for ancillaries and cylinder block is fitted; insert dowel sleeve if necessary. –  Tighten bolts for bracket for ancillaries → Fig.. –  Install engine support → Chapter. –  Install high-pressure pump → Rep. gr.23. –  Install toothed belt (adjust valve timing) → Anchor. –  Install alternator → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27. –  Install engine mountings → Chapter.
