q | Counterhold at connecting piece when loosening union nut |
q | Renew connecting piece -item 7- and tighten to 30 Nm |
q | Tighten bracket for fuel supply line to 8 Nm |
q | Check for damage before re-installing |
q | Lubricate thread of union nut with fuel |
q | 18 Nm |

q | The fuel system must not be under pressure when installing the high-pressure pump; procedure for reducing fuel pressure → Chapter |
q | Fuel pipes must be free of tension when installed. |
q | When connector is unplugged, high-pressure pump switches to full delivery (approx. 140 bar) |
