Removing
  WARNING
The fuel system operates at extremely high pressure. This can cause injury.
The fuel pressure in the high-pressure section of the injection system must be reduced to a residual pressure prior to opening the system.
–  Reduce fuel pressure in high-pressure section of injection system → Chapter.
   
–  Disengage activated charcoal filter solenoid valve 1 -N80--item 1-.
–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Release hose clip -3- and detach hose.
  Note
Place a cloth underneath to catch escaping fuel.

–  Unplug electrical connector -arrow-.
–  Unscrew fuel pressure sender -G247-.
Installing
Install in reverse order.
l  Tightening torques → Chapter „Intake manifold (bottom section), fuel rail and injectors - exploded view“ and → Chapter „Air cleaner - exploded view“
