Removing and installing mounting bracket with strut
Removing and installing mounting bracket with strut
Removing
–  Remove steering column → Chapter.
–  Remove plenum chamber cover → Rep. gr.50.
   
–  Remove bolt -arrow- in plenum chamber.
  N48-10010
–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
  N48-10008
–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
–  Mounting bracket with strut can now be detached from body.

Installing
–  Insert mounting bracket, fit all 4 bolts and tighten to specified torque → Item and → Item.
–  Secure strut to body by tightening bolt -arrow- to specified torque → Item.

–  Tighten bolt securing mounting bracket/strut -arrow- to specified torque → Item.
–  Tighten securing bolt → Item.
Remaining installation steps are carried out in reverse sequence.
