Observe warnings and safety regulations → Chapter.

Risk of damage to battery or vehicle.
t  Vehicles with batteries that are not maintenance-free: Observe notes → Chapter „Visual inspection of battery“.
t  Vehicles with maintenance-free batteries: Observe notes → Chapter „Visual inspection of battery“.
t  To ensure a long service life, the battery must be checked, serviced and maintained according to the instructions in this Workshop Manual.
t  Apart from starting the engine, the battery also acts as an electrical buffer and supplies power to all parts of the vehicle's electrical system.
