Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamp Pliers (V.A.G 1921)

Removing

-

Drain coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Service and Repair.

Remove fan shroud. Refer to => [ Fan Shroud ] See: Fan Shroud/Service and Repair. 

-

Remove air guide hose - arrows -.

-

Remove the upper coolant hose - arrow - from the radiator.

-

Remove bolts - 1 and 2 - and remove the radiator downward.
