‹› Both rotary switches - A - and - B - in certain versions have only be inserted and can be pulled off. Only if they can be pulled off can they be
replaced individually.
‹› If both rotary switches - A - and - B - are fixed on (and cannot be pulled off), individual components of Heater Control Module (J65) (of A/C
Control Module (J301)) as well as lamps (LEDs = Light Emitting Diodes) for illuminating buttons and rotary switches cannot be replaced
individually.
‹› Illumination of rotary switches and buttons of heater controls (A/C system controls) occurs via terminals "58s" and "58d". On vehicles without
A/C system, these two terminals are connected directly to Heater Control Module (J65). Wiring diagrams, Troubleshooting & Component
locations. On vehicles with a manual A/C, the switch condition and the voltage of both terminals is checked by the databus system from the A/C

‹› Function indicator lamp in fresh/recirculating air button - F - of heater controls is supplied with voltage via terminals " 58d".
