Remove bolts - 1 -, - 2 - and - 5 -
-
Remove lower part of steering column trim.

Remove the bolt - 1 -.
-
Slide a 2.5 mm diameter drill - item 2 - approximately 45 mm into hole - arrow 1 - on Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module
(J527) until retaining detent is released - arrow 2 -.
-
Pull Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module (J527) down slightly and remove drill.
