Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair

Rear Lid Lock

1 - Rear lid actuator

‹› Remove together with mounting plate - 3 -.

‹› Removal => [ Actuator, Removing ].

2 - Operating rod

‹› To remove, Swivel out pivot lever - 8 - at rear lid lock - 6 - and disengage operating rod from rear lid lock. 

‹› When disassembling, remove actuator first.

3 - Mounting plate

‹› Remove with actuator.

‹› Operating rod disengaged at lid lock.

‹› Loosen bolts - 4 - and slide mounting plate with actuator out of oblong holes.

‹› Feed actuator with mounting plate and operating rod out of rear lid. 

4 - Torx screw

‹› 1.7 Nm
