Rear Lid Spoiler Assembly Overview

Spoiler

‹› Removal:

-

Lid trim removed.

-

Remove bolts - 4 - and - 6 -.

-

Heat up the lid in the area of the seal with a hot air blower and remove the spoiler.

‹› Installing:

-

Remove any remaining adhesive from the lid.

-

Lid must be free of dust and grease in adhesion area.

-

Clean the area with cleaning solution (D 009 401 04)

-

Pull of the protective foil from the adhesive tape just before installing. 

-

Guide the wire through the lid and mount the spoiler so that it is exact.

-

Press the spoiler starting in the center over the entire width. 

-

Tighten the screws according to the tightening specification.
