Remove hex nuts - A - (tightening torque 6 Nm).

-

Disconnect connector - B - from Auxiliary Air Heater Heating Element Z35 - C -

-

Pull Auxiliary Air Heater Heating Element Z35 - B - out of heating A/C unit (out of heater).

Installing

Install all removed components in reversed order.

NOTE:
-

Hex nuts at both wire connections - B - and - C - to Auxiliary Air Heater Heating Element Z35 are tightened to 6 Nm (electronics of Auxiliary
Air Heater Heating Element Z35 are damaged if torque is too great).

Hex nut - A - at connector - B - and to Auxiliary Air Heater Heating Element Z35 - C - are tightened to 6 Nm (electrics of Auxiliary Air Heater
Heating Element Z35 are damaged if torque is too great).

After installing, if necessary check activation and function of Auxiliary Air Heater Heating Element Z35 (on vehicles with A/C system) and (on
vehicles without A/C system).
