Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor

Remove the glove compartment. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Utility Storage Compartment/Service and Repair/Storage
Compartments and Covers/Glove Compartment

Remove the screw clips - A - (different versions -  C - and - D -) and remove insulation mat -  B -.

-

Disconnect harness connector - A - from series resistor -  B -.

-

Open locking mechanism - C - and slide the series resistor - B - to the right - arrow -

CAUTION!
Heat sink on Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor with Fuse (N24) may be hot.

Remove series resistor - B - from heater (out of heating & A/C unit of manual climate control system).
