Heater, Disassembling And Assembling

Remove heater.

-

Remove add-on components from heater.

Air distribution housing for heater
-

Do not disassemble further

-

In vehicles without Auxiliary Air Heater Heating Element Z35 , the cover for heater core seals the opening for Auxiliary Air Heater
Heating Element Z35 .

-

If necessary, coat bearing areas and guides of temperature flaps thinly with grease (e.g. with G 052 745 A3 )

Air guide channel to left footwell vent

Version "heater"

Heater core

O-ring seal

Always replace

Coat thinly with coolant and insert on proper side

Always replace

Check for proper seating

Tightening torque 2.5 Nm

Disconnecting and connecting at heater core

Installed between grommet and heater
