Loosen the cap -2- with Socket AF 32 .

Note:

-

Loosen the cap before draining / extracting, so that the engine oil can run out of the oil filter housing.

Open oil drain plug or extract engine oil.

-

Replace O-rings and oil filter insert.

Note:

-

Observe waste disposal regulations!

-

Tighten cap with Socket AF 32 .

-

Install the vacuum shut-off valve -1- into its retainer.

-

Install oil drain plug with new gasket.

-

Fill with engine oil.

Tightening Specifications

Oil drain plug ..........................................................................................................................................................................................................  30 Nm
Cover .......................................................................................................................................................................................................................  25 Nm

To drain oil, remove noise insulation on drain plug.  See: Body and Frame/Sound Proofing / Insulation/Service and Repair
