Electronic Noise Suppressor: Service and Repair

Suppressor

Observe notes on contact corrosion.

Removing

-

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire.

-

Remove the air guide cover - 1 -.

-

Unclip the air guide - 2 -.

-

Remove vacuum hose - 2 - at the air filter guide hose.

-

Remove the air guide hose - 1 - on the throttle valve control module J338 .

-

Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor G70 connector - item 3 -.

-

Remove the upper section of the air filter housing - arrow -.

-

Remove the filter insert.

-

Remove the lower section of the air filter housing - arrows -.

-

Disengage retaining clip - arrow A - and open cover - 1 - over positive pole pick-up.

-

Disengage cover - 2 - over electrical wires in - direction of arrow B -.
