Remove screws - 4 - and remove steering column adjuster handle - 3 - .

Remove screws - 1 - , - 2 - and - 5 - .

Remove lower steering column trim.

Remove screw - 1 - .
CAUTION: DO NOT attempt to remove control module without releasing center retaining clip as described in next step. Damage to
control module will result.

Insert drill bit with empty set 2.5 mm (or equivalent tool such as a screwdriver etc.) as illustrated - 2 - approximately 45 mm into hole - arrow 1 -
in order to release center retaining clip - arrow 2 - . It may be necessary to twist the drill/tool slightly in order to release clip.
Only after center retaining clip has been released:

Pull module down slightly and remove drill/tool.
