Carefully lower subframe with components.

‹› When lowering, make sure there is enough clearance between the brake lines, electrical lines and centering points to driveshaft.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following: 

Connect the driveshaft to the rear final drive.

The center of the subframe mount holes must be aligned to the bolting points on the body.

Bleed brake system.

Perform headlamp basic setting. Refer to => [ Level Control System Sensor Overview ] See: Sensors and Switches - Suspension/Ride Height

On vehicles with Audi magnetic ride, reprogram control position.

Vehicle alignment is required. Refer to => [ Wheel Alignment is Necessary When: ] See: Alignment/Service Precautions. 

Checking and aligning front/rear axle must take place on a VW/Audi recommended alignment stand.
