Fluid Filter - A/T: Removal and Replacement

Transmission Fluid Filter - 6 Spd. Direct Shift A/T 02E All Wheel Drive

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Used oil collection and extraction device V.A.G 1782

Removing

-

Switch ignition off.

-

Remove vacuum hose -2- on air duct hose.

-

Disconnect air guide hose -1- at Throttle Valve Control Module J338.

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector at Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor G70 -3-.

-

Remove upper section of air filter housing -arrow-.

-

Remove filter insert.

-

Remove air duct cover -1-.

-

Unclip air duct -2-.

-

Remove lower section of air filter housing -arrows-.
