Seal on Transmission between Bevel Box and Transmission - 6 Spd. Direct Shift A/T 02E All Wheel Drive

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Used oil collection and extraction device V.A.G 1782

^

Thrust piece T10243

Procedure

-

Bevel box, removing 

Place used oil collection and extraction device V.A.G 1782 under transmission.

-

Pry out sealing ring on transmission with Pulling Hook T20143/1 or T20143/2.

-

Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- halfway with sealing grease G 052 128 A1.

-

Lightly lubricate outer circumference of sealing ring.

-

Carefully drive in sealing ring as far as stop using Thrust Piece T10243.

-

Bevel box, installing 

-

Transmission fluid level, checking and filling up.
