Lock carrier service position

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Front end service position special tool -3369-

Note

Do not remove noise insulation. Only slacken off front quick-release bolts → Item.

–	Remove the bumper → Chapter.

–	Detach the engine covers -2- and -3-.

–	Unscrew air duct between lock carrier and air cleaner at lock carrier and take out.

–	Screw in front end service position special tool -3369- as shown on left and right.

–	Unscrew the bolts -5- on the left and right.

–	Unscrew the bolts -4- and pull the lock carrier -1- forwards.

–	Pull lock carrier forwards until rear hole at lock carrier coincides with front tapped hole of wing flange.

–	Use bolts to fix lock carrier in position as shown on left and right -arrow-.

Assemble in reverse order.

Tightening torques → Chapter

Note

After fitting lock carrier, check headlight setting and adjust if necessary → Booklet803.
