| Removing and installing door lock up to Model Year 2005 |
| Removing |
| – | Remove the door trim → Rep. Gr.70. |
| – | Remove the door lock cap. |
| – | Remove the window lifter rear brace → Chapter. |
| – | Unplug the connector at the door lock. |
| – | Unclip the Bowden cable for the interior door handle -5- at the door lock, swivel it through 90° and take it out of the actuating lever -4-. |
| – | If same door lock is to be re-used, disengage operating rod at door handle. |
| – | If the door lock is to be replaced, unclip the operating rod at the sleeve from the door lock → Fig. „Engaging operating rod in door lock“ |
| – | Unscrew the bolts -1- and take out the door lock. |
