| – | Remove rear seat bench → Chapter. |
| – | Remove head restraints → Chapter. |
| – | Remove head restraint guides → Chapter. |
| – | Open convertible roof compartment to gain access to belt guides of rear seat belts. |
| – | Disengage belt guides (2x) on left and right → Chapter, item -2-. |
| – | Disengage centre armrest. |
| – | Remove piping at belt buckle cover → Fig. |
| – | Remove bolts -2- (2x). |
| – | Lift off rear seat backrest -1-. |
| – | Seat with seat heating: Unplug connector for seat heating. |
| t | Installing |
| – | Seat with seat heating: Plug in connector for seat heating. |
| – | Insert rear seat backrest -1- at bottom. |
| – | Slide rear seat backrest -1- upwards and engage rear seat backrest -1- at top (3x). |
| – | Press rear seat backrest -1- fully down. |
| – | Screw in bolts -2- (2x). |
| – | Install head restraint guides → Chapter. |
| – | Install head restraints → Chapter. |
