| – | Remove seat → Chapter. |
| – | Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-. |
| – | Attach front seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136-. |
| – | Remove side trim (sill side) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove side trim (tunnel side) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove backrest → Chapter. |
| – | Remove bolts -3- (2x). |
| – | Detach bracket -2-. |
| – | Unplug connector for seat heating -7-. |
| – | Unfasten clip -4-. |
| – | Prise out fastening strips (peripheral) -5-. |
| – | Disengage lug -6-. |
| – | Detach cover and padding -1-. |
| – | On vehicles with ISOFIX retainer and new cover fabric -1-, cut slots in fabric cover at location of ISOFIX retainer → Chapter. |
